He studied at the School of Fine Arts of Barcelona. He worked in the studio of Enric Casanovas.
«After a period of schematic figuration and another of monumental constructions with a certain influence of Gaudí, he reached abstraction with personality around 1950. Later he became interested in polymaterics and in the decade 1955-1965 his evolution shows a growing interest in finishing and in sculpture as a synthesis of image and object, rather than as purely plastic, although it does not lack this value. In 1955 he exhibited in the Middelheim Park in Antwerp as the only Spanish representative. Apart from the various monuments in Barcelona, it is worth mentioning, together with other national ones, the one devoted to International Trade in the City of Dallas and the great monument in memory of the XIX Olympiad in Mexico.
