Juli González i Pellicer (Julio González)

(Barcelona, España, 1876 – París, Francia, 1942))

After his apprenticeship in his father’s goldsmith workshop, he developed his vocation as a sculptor in Paris, where he met Picasso. He studied Fine Arts in his native city. Exhibitions all over the world and works in the most important museums. The legacy of Julio González is today one of the most appreciated contributions of Spanish art to the artistic culture of modern times.
