“Amadeo Gabino’s “Estela Espacial” (“Space Stele”), made of stainless steel in 1973, is another of the great works on display. In this tower, Gabino has achieved the synthesis of light and vegetation. A body of great beauty, a monumental mirror of its surroundings, kinetic in its capture of mobile and reflected space, this vibrationist work is a great jewel of visual transfers.”

“The contribution from the Valencia Region is justly acclaimed as superlative and one of the most outstanding examples of optical and kinetic sculpture that can be admired in Spain. The stainless-steel Space Stele, erected in the García Sanabria Park by its author Amadeo Gabino (Valencia, 1922) is one of the most obvious achievements of a sculptor who has been so successful in all the cities and buildings of Europe and America where his mirroring steels and the dazzling wink of his metallic cyclopes shine unmistakably.”

“Another of the procedures used to obtain works was to acquire them directly from the artist’s studio. Amadeo Gabino’s piece, “Estela Espacial” (“Space Stele”) (1973, stainless steel), an aerodynamic testimony to an era of expansive waves, arrived from Madrid under this modality”
